About

Hani El-Qasem, Pre-Sales Technical Account Manager with Boldon James – The Secure Information Exchange Company.. Currently working with commercial, government, intelligence and defence organisations in the area of InfoSec, Messaging and Information Classification.

I’m 35 years old and live in Manchester (UK) with my wife and two daughters. I have been involved in IT for almost 30 years: 15 professional with another 15 academically and as a child. Professionally, I’ve worked in various roles and in a variety of different industries (mainly IT and Telecoms).  In those years, I’ve been lucky enough to work in companies that have presented opportunities to move sideways as well as upwards. Respectively, I’ve gained valuable experience in technical support, business analysis, implementation, project management, pre-sales, business development, marketing, direct sales and management.

This blog is focussed (and I use this word loosely) on Information Technology, Security, Military Messaging, Secure Messaging, Email, Collaboration, Pre-Sales, Business Development,  Web Development, Networking, Network Optimization, Virtualisation, Cloud (because it’s trendy)  and General IT industry developments.  These are my notes, thoughts and findings as I explore the world of Information Technology.

If you’re working in any of the above areas, or just like the content of the blog, please feel free to ping me an invite on Linkedin here: http://uk.linkedin.com/in/helqasem
